About the Author

James Alexander Rothwell has been writing since he was ten years old and dreaming up adventures since long before then.

Some of James’ favourite novels include The Hunt for Red October by Tom Clancy, The Sword of Shannara by Terry Brooks, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling, The Guns of Navarone by Alistair MacLean, The Hound of the Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, The Winter King by Bernard Cornwell, the Star of the Guardians series by Margaret Weis and The Lord of the Rings trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien.

The Dragonscier Chronicles series is just one of the many stories that James is working on. Other upcoming adventures include a spy thriller, a series of mystery novellas set in Edwardian England, and a spec script for a Superman film.

He and his wife, Hilary, call Ottawa, Canada home.
